Calendarific covers public, local, bank, and religious holidays plus observances for more than 230 countries and 3,300 states/regions, with names translated into over 100 languages. Requests are plain query-string GET calls returning JSON, filterable by holiday type (national, religious, observance) and by year back to 1900 or forward to 2049. The free tier caps out at 1,000 requests per day before a 429 kicks in, with paid plans lifting the ceiling and unlocking multi-year date-range queries.
