What was CurrencyScoop is now CurrencyBeacon, a rebrand confirmed by a live redirect from the old currencyscoop.com docs straight to the equivalent currencybeacon.com page — the old brand and domain are effectively retired. The service provides real-time (minute-level) and historical mid-market rates back to 1996 for 168+ fiat currencies and over 2,000 cryptocurrencies, plus a server-side conversion calculator, and now also ships an MCP server for wiring the API directly into AI agents.
