DomainsDB indexes registered domain names across gTLDs and ccTLDs so you can search for every domain containing a given word, phrase, or registration pattern — used for brand monitoring, prior-art checks, and portfolio-monitoring tools. Anonymous access is retired: a live GET this run against the real /v1/domains/search endpoint returned a 401 "API key required" JSON error with no keyless fallback, and the vendor now runs exclusively on a prepaid credit balance ($5 per 100,000 credits) rather than an ongoing free tier.
