Hasura
Hasura instantly generates a GraphQL API (plus auto-generated REST endpoints) over a connected Postgres, MySQL, or other database, with role-based authorization via JWTs, webhooks, or an admin secret. The open-source engine remains free to self-host with no request limits, alongside a newer managed DDN architecture that adds a free solo-developer tier and paid per-active-model plans; self-hosted deployments block cross-origin requests by default unless CORS domains are configured.

Auth quickstart
- Sign up with the provider to get an API key.
- Send it on every request as a header
Authorization: <key> - The exact header isn't documented — Authorization is a common default; confirm in the provider's docs.
Stored keyNo key stored
Your key is stored only in this browser (localStorage) and sent directly to the API — never to greatapis.
