Open Government, Thailand
Thailand's open-government-data portal runs on CKAN, extended by NECTEC with data-cleansing and visualization features under the "Open-D" brand, and requires a free account at opend.data.go.th to obtain a personal API token sent as an api-key header. Query results come back as JSON, but only over resources that are themselves tabular CSV/XLS/XLSX files. The live site currently returns a branded "Access Denied" response to automated traffic from multiple independent network vantage points, which blocked a direct CORS check — Google's index still shows current, correctly-served pages, so this reads as bot-mitigation rather than an outage.

Auth quickstart
- Sign up with the provider to get an API key.
- Send it on every request as a header
Authorization: <key> - The exact header isn't documented — Authorization is a common default; confirm in the provider's docs.
Your key is stored only in this browser (localStorage) and sent directly to the API — never to greatapis.
