openFDA

Verified Jul 2026

openFDA re-publishes FDA datasets on drug adverse events, product recalls, device reports, and food enforcement as searchable JSON, drawing from official regulatory filings rather than clinical or diagnostic data. Requests work without a key at 240/minute and 1,000/day per IP; registering a free key raises that to 240/minute and 120,000/day. A live Origin-header probe against api.fda.gov returns Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * on every endpoint.
