Simkl is a movie/TV/anime tracking platform whose REST API mirrors watch-history and rating actions back to a user's Simkl account, alongside search endpoints for movies, TV shows, and anime by title. Every request needs a registered app's client_id (confirmed live: omitting it returns a client_id_failed 412 rather than a 404), and the Apiary-hosted docs — despite intermittently 502ing on individual requests — are the real, current source of truth.
