TheCocktailDB is a community-sourced database of cocktail recipes — ingredients, measurements, and mixing instructions — searchable by name, ingredient, or category, free forever at the point of access with a shared test key, while a paid Patreon-issued key unlocks a few extra endpoints. A live GET against the real gateway, www.thecocktaildb.com, returned a genuine random-drink JSON payload while carrying Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *, reconfirming both cors yes and API Key auth (the shared test-key model) in the same probe.
