BreezoMeter Pollen vs Danish data service Energi
BreezoMeter's Pollen API was folded into Google Maps Platform after Google's 2023 BreezoMeter acquisition; the old docs.breezometer.com host now redirects straight to Google's own Pollen product page. The live gateway, pollen.googleapis.com, still serves the same daily pollen forecast and heatmap-tile data for a location, just under a Google Cloud API key and Maps Platform billing.
Energi Data Service is the Danish transmission system operator Energinet's open-data platform, publishing dozens of live datasets — day-ahead power prices, grid emissions, consumption, and more — as a free public JSON API with no key required. Its older Elspotprices dataset was retired after the Nordic market's move to 15-minute settlement on 2025-09-30, superseded by the still-live DayAheadPrices dataset.
