BreezoMeter Pollen vs Luchtmeetnet
BreezoMeter's Pollen API was folded into Google Maps Platform after Google's 2023 BreezoMeter acquisition; the old docs.breezometer.com host now redirects straight to Google's own Pollen product page. The live gateway, pollen.googleapis.com, still serves the same daily pollen forecast and heatmap-tile data for a location, just under a Google Cloud API key and Maps Platform billing.
Luchtmeetnet is the Dutch national air-quality monitoring network (run by RIVM and partners), publishing measured and forecast pollutant levels from over a hundred stations across the Netherlands. It's a fully open government data feed — no key or registration needed.
