BKK FUTAR's real-time API for Budapest public transport covers stop and route search, trip planning, and live vehicle arrivals for BKK's bus, tram, trolleybus, and metro network, backed by an OTP-based JSON gateway; matching static GTFS schedules are published alongside it. The old bkkfutar.docs.apiary.io docs mirror has become unreliable (intermittent 502s), so the canonical entry point is now the opendata.bkk.hu portal, which issues the free API key and hosts the OpenAPI spec.
